Bunker Family Reunion

Normally we go to Brianhead, UT for our family reunions, but this year we went to Elko, NV and poured cement at my cousin's house. So, once we got there we talked and I chased Garett around the house eight times.

At the reunion a lot of us played Dance-Dance revolution (a Playstation 2 game). On Friday we did a family olympics-we do that every year. And so we stuff like: headstands, balance a metal spoon on our nose, sitting against the wall without a chair, a long jump (it's our favorite activity!).

We also had a slip-n-slide. It was really fun, except for when I was going down and I slid off the edge and got scraped on my back. But I still kept going and got hurt a second time when I went down and someone else went down right after me. When I was trying to get up they kicked my thigh and it hurt. That's when I gave up.

We also do a pinata each year. This year all the boys got a pocket knife, mine was bent, but luckily I already have a leatherman. We also got starbursts, skittles, and lots of other things.

We went on a hike but there were four people who stayed at the beginning and one of them was me.

We did a talent show. I played a piano song called "The Purple People Eater" and another trick that I made up and slapped my legs really fast.

A weekend with my Dad

May 24, 2008-

Last night, was the Fathers and Sons outting at Nay's Ranch.  It was an adventure.  It started raining after school and it rained the whooooole way there.  So when we got up there, we were hungry of course so we ate dinner.  We had hambugers and hotdogs and the buns go a little bit soggy.  Some peoples buns were really soggy.  So people were smart enough to put another paper plate on top to keep their food dry.  I was one of those brilliant people.  We slept in the horse trailer and it had holes in it so we got a little wet.  Grandpa Bunker, Uncle Aaron and the Haviland boys stayed in there with dad and I.  Well, this morning, we started a fire to warm up from the freezing cold air.  The big fire was really crowded so me and my cousin Jace dug a little fire pit and found a ton of twigs and found a piece of bark and started our own fire.  Once I got a little warmer, so people decided to go swimming in the Nay's Pond.  It has ropes hanging over the pond so we can swing on the ropes and land in the pond.  We also ran in a circle with the rope and pretend to walk on the water all the around the circle back to dry land.  It is alot of fun.  Right when I got out and started to get dressed, it began to rain again.  That's what I call good timing.
After we got home from Nay's Ranch, my dad and I went to St. George.  We got a printer, but when we got home we realized that it would not work with our computer.  At Costco, I saw this game called Mario Kart Wii and it came with a Wii Wheel.  My dad let me get it cause he thought it would be fun.  I also got some new shoes and a new pair of pants and 2 new shirts.
I had a great weekend with my dad!
